Two Paths for Growth

Develop Your Pelvic Health Expertise

Interested in pelvic health but haven’t completed training or certification? Prior pelvic health experience is not required for our development pathway.

CPT will support your training, specialty certification, and continued clinical growth through:

  • Pelvic health coursework and specialty certification reimbursement

  • Unlimited continuing education reimbursement with no annual cap

  • Continued education through CPT LAB and quarterly guest lecturers

  • Clinical collaboration and opportunities for mentorship

  • A progressive transition into pelvic health care based on completed training and demonstrated competency

  • Opportunities to contribute to patient education, community outreach, and specialty program development

Lead and Grow Pelvic Health Services

Already experienced in pelvic health and ready for greater influence? We are also seeking practitioners interested in taking a clinical leadership role in the development of CPT’s pelvic health services.

Based on experience and demonstrated leadership ability, opportunities may include:

  • Helping shape the clinical direction and growth of the pelvic health program

  • Mentoring PTs entering the specialty

  • Supporting clinical competency development and consistent care standards

  • Developing educational resources and internal training

  • Leading specialty interest groups and case discussions

  • Strengthening relationships with physicians and other referral partners

  • Supporting pelvic health services across multiple locations

  • Contributing to program planning, patient experience, and quality initiatives

Leadership responsibilities and scope will align with your experience, interests, and the needs of the growing program.

Clinical Care Comes First

Our clinical model gives you space to provide thoughtful care and develop professionally:

  • No double-booking expectations

  • One-hour evaluations

  • Average caseload of approximately 12 patients per day

  • Dedicated support staff

  • Clinical autonomy in treatment planning and decision-making

  • Dedicated documentation time built into schedules

  • A goal of eliminating take-home documentation whenever possible

Responsibilities

Patient Care

  • Evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based physical therapy interventions.

  • Develop individualized plans of care aligned with patients’ needs and goals.

  • Provide pelvic health evaluation and treatment within your training, demonstrated competency, and scope of practice.

  • Create a respectful, private, and supportive environment for patients discussing sensitive concerns.

  • Incorporate informed consent, clear education, and compassionate communication throughout care.

  • Complete timely, accurate documentation within PROMPT EMR.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to support coordinated care.

  • Participate in clinical quality and patient experience initiatives.

Professional Development and Program Growth

  • Continue advancing your pelvic health knowledge and clinical skills.

  • Participate in training, certification, or advanced education appropriate to your experience.

  • Contribute to the development and expansion of CPT’s pelvic health services.

  • Support patient education, community outreach, and referral relationships.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and share clinical learning.

  • For experienced practitioners pursuing leadership, help mentor clinicians, guide program development, and strengthen clinical standards.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $90,000–$110,000+, based on experience

  • $10,000 sign-on bonus

Qualifications

All Candidates

  • Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

  • Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain licensure

  • Commitment to evidence-based care and continued professional development

  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to sensitive patient concerns

  • A collaborative, patient-focused mindset

Training and Certification Pathway

  • Strong interest in developing a pelvic health specialty and pursuing pelvic floor certification

  • Willingness to complete training and demonstrate clinical competency

  • Outpatient experience preferred

  • Prior pelvic health experience or certification is not required

Experienced Practitioner and Leadership Pathway

  • Established pelvic health evaluation and treatment experience

  • Advanced pelvic health training; specialty certification welcomed

  • Interest in mentoring clinicians and developing specialty services

  • Ability to support clinical standards, collaborate across teams, and guide program growth

  • Prior mentorship, education, or program development experience preferred
